About SPS

Our objective is to contribute to the dissemination and progress of science and technology related to advanced and innovative manufacturing processes that are environment-friendly and energy efficient. These processes have a wide range of manufacturing and joining processes, such as manufacturing from high to low temperatures, and from heavy to light and small parts.

It covers a very wide range of science and technology fields, with the intersection of diverse human resources and knowledge that extremely effective in creating new innovations in science and technology. Next, as this association covers a wide range of science and technology field, it will also be able to explore the interdisciplinary research and development. Moreover, this association aims to help and create a prosperous and safe smart society that could shine in the future by providing a platform for information exchange in addition to bring the research intersection of the manufacturing processes and technologies in different kind of fields.

Activities

1. Publication of "Journal of Smart Processing for Materials, Environment & Energy”

We publish the journal six times a year, every other month.

The content of the journal includes the latest technical explanations, research papers, research notes, international conference reports, literature introduction, overseas information, and new technology introduction, etc.

Members will receive this journal free of charge and will also be able to submit papers to the journal.

2. Academic Lecture Meetings

We hold an annual academic lecture every November.

3. Committee meetings in the Research Groups

Various research committee meetings and seminars are held in the Research Groups.
